MSS have the capability to undertake special bespoke projects that involve digital and/or traditional signage technology. Here are a few examples of such projects MSS have completed.

Touchscreen Retrofit of LCD Screens

MSS undertake full Integration Services into existing LCD screens converting them into Touchscreens for the Dynamic Digital Signage and Audio Visual market sectors.

Since late 2007, MSS have developed an experience and expertise in the retrofit of touchscreen technology into existing LCD screens by removing the bezel and also by adding an overlay (depending on the original design of the LCD monitor).

By working directly with mainstream LCD manufacturers MSS integration services do not invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty.

The high quality MSS integration touchscreen services are suitable for new and second-hand LCD screens. Each converted LCD screen is fully tested before despatch and is covered by a full touchscreen warranty.

Touchscreen Integrated into Unique Design

MSS also integrate Touchscreen technology into customer or project specific designs such as a Touchscreen Kiosk, Interactive Table, Outdoor Signage, Directory Display, Information Point, or any other product that requires touchscreen functionality.

MSS were commissioned to design, manufacture and install an all-new innovative 55mm deep 'Slim-Sign' illuminated 6-sheet poster display unit that was developed by MSS specifically for outdoor advertising application in Football stadiums in England.

The ‘Slim-Sign’ design boasts a number of key advantageous benefits to the outdoor advertising contractor which include; the absence of any lamp ‘striping’ whatsoever; Even, bright illumination of over 1400Lux; Low weight, the wall mounted version with toughened glass fitted weighs only 65kg; and Low power consumption of only 126W.

MSS also undertook the stadium surveys to select the most effective locations of the displays and were responsible for all discussions with stadium health and safety, local authorities and the police who all had an interest in the project.

Over 500 MSS edge-illuminated 6-sheet displays were installed in many football clubs in England including Chelsea, Manchester City, Blackburn, Bristol City, Everton and Reading to name a few.
